| PATENT ANNUITIES |
A Power-of-Attorney is required for payment of patent annuities.
Patent annuities are payable from the 1st year counting from the date of filing in Bosnia & Herzegovina.
For PCT applications that have entered the national phase in Bosnia & Herzegovina, the filing date is the date of filing of the PCT application and annuities are calculated from that date, but are payable from the date of filing in Bosnia & Herzegovina.
Patents are valid 20 years from the date of filing.
Grace period: 9 months in which the official fees are increased by 25% for the 1-3 months, and 100% for the next 6 months. For European patents that have been extended to Bosnia & Herzegovina, the renewal fees shall be paid for each year following that in which the order on the grant of the European patent is published.

| TRADEMARKS |
A Power-of-Attorney is required for renewal of trademarks.
Maintenance fees are paid every ten years, starting from the date of filing, but first 10 year maintenance fees are paid upon grant.
Grace period: 9 months in which the official fees are increased by 25% for the 1-3 months and 100% for the next 6 months.

A Power-of-Attorney is required for renewal of designs.
Designs and patterns are valid 10 years from the date of filing and are payable upon grant. |
